Pink Hotel Original 24x30

Down in Waikiki the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, also known at the Pink Hotel, is a well known land mark. Robert Thomas created this painting to capture that hotel. He only used square strokes to paint it.

This style was inspired by Robert Thomas' Mother who was an impressionism artist. Robert Thomas will take a palette knife instead of a brush to create these textured paintings. Capturing just an impression of what he see’s while painting these exquisite pieces.
