It has been a great week of painting and learning, in a whole different avenue of art. As everyone knows I have stayed away from portraits because of the time and talent I have not felt I have. News. Portraits are much harder but I am learning at a great speed. I draw and sketch everyday to improve my ability to capture portraits and do figure drawing. It shouldn't be long before this will be a new addition to the web-site. Here are a few of my new attempts to draw and paint portraits. One of these was painted a year ago, when I was first trying to learn.



Everything takes time and sometimes it is better to stop and start again, a few months or even years later until your interest is strong. You sometimes learn better if it is not all at the same time.
