It has been a great week.
The first part of the week I took my wife to Oahu. We went to check out spaces for a new gallery. I would love to have a gallery in Waikikii, but I learned a lot about some of the difficulties of trying to be in two places at once.
We walked everywhere shop by shop and hotel by hotel. They're all too close to each other to bother with a car. It completely wore me out.
Our first day on Oahu we walked for nine hours, just trying to locate apartments. So many choices. We decided to not sign any leases on places to live because we didn't have a lease on a shop space yet.
We didn't think it would be such a hard job to find a space but it was. The Hotels were nice and offered very expensive small shops. We looked at the International Market Place and found ten spaces or so. We will probably not get the shop space at this time.
This will let me have the time to better organize. There are also other possibilities. We could place my work in other galleries and shops. We are probably going to consider all our options for a while before making any moves.
I am going to show you some of the pictures, to let you see what we saw in Oahu.
